The Bayeux tapestry
The Bayeux tapestry is a long and detailed cloth that is 70 meters long it was made in 1066 and can still be see today. It depicts events that happened in the famous battle of Hastings. The tapestry consists of about 50 different slides with latin embroiderd on linen with colored linen. The Bayeux tapestry is one of the great achievements of the Normandy people. How It survived almost over nine centuries is just amazing. It is long and whatsmore compleatly handmade, the freshness of its colors, its detail and how it is so presise. In 1729 it was rediscoverd by scolars. The tapestry is now exibited at the Musée de la Tapisserie de Bayeux in , Bayeax France.
